Event Details

Learn how to sew two Christmas ornaments using the traditional cathedral window pattern and an attractive variant.  While both are sewn on a machine, one involves more hand sewing than the other to finish it up.  Cost is $5.  Material needed:  3 coordinated Christmas fabrics,  thread, ribbon and buttons to match.   At the most you would need 16" x 16" of each fabric.  Participants must know how to use their sewing machine and bring basic sewing supplies such as pins, scissors, a 6-12" ruler, a hand sewing needle and thimble (if desired.)  A rotary cutter and mat and a pressing mat are optional.  A tool to poke out corners as well as fabric glue would also be useful - but we can provide those for you to use, as well as the polyfil to stuff it.
