Event Details

Come and start knitting a baby or child's hat with a cute plush animal on top!
Participants will choose from 1 of four animals (kitten, puppy, frog or narwhale) and use their own circular knitting needle (size 9 - 32 or 40" long) to start the hat.  Techniques used will be:  long tail cast on, magic loop circular knitting, ribbing using knit and purl, stockinette stitch, and decreasing.  Participants should know how to knit and purl already.  Cost is $3 per hat.  Participants will probably not finish the hat in class, but will be shown all the techniques to finish it at home.   When registering, please indicate in the notes field your first and second choice for which item you wish to knit:  kitten, puppy, frog or narwhale.
